if you could prevent future health issues by addressing inflammation starting in your mouth?

How would your life change...

Bale, Bradley Field, Amy Lynn Doneen, and David John Vigerust. "High-risk periodontal pathogens contribute to the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis." Postgraduate Medical Journal, 2017.

Periodontal disease (PD), or gum disease, is caused by harmful bacteria in the mouth. These bacteria can enter your bloodstream and lead to serious health problems, including cardiovascular disease (CVD). Research has shown that gum disease is directly linked to artery disease, which can lead to heart attacks and strokes. This is particularly concerning because gum disease is very common, especially in adults over 30. A few specific types of bacteria, such as Porphyromonas gingivalis and Fusobacterium nucleatum, are known to increase the risk of heart disease. These bacteria can affect the health of your arteries in ways that contribute to a buildup of plaque, leading to atherosclerosis, the hardening and narrowing of the arteries, which is the leading cause of death and disability. Addressing gum disease, especially when caused by these high-risk bacteria, can play a significant role in reducing your risk of heart disease.

Through a combination of functional lab testing, lifestyle coaching, and targeted health strategies, we’ll develop an approach to restore both your oral and overall health. Whichever option you choose, you’ll gain the tools and confidence to improve your health span, ensuring it matches your lifespan.

Studies show that periodontal disease caused by high-risk bacteria is not only detrimental to your oral health but can significantly contribute to systemic health problems.

Staying active and managing stress are key components of a healthy lifestyle. I’ll help you find ways to incorporate more movement into your routine and teach you techniques to lower stress, improving your mental and physical well-being.
